Ingredients
4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
2 tablespoons olive oil
3 tablespoons butter
6 garlic cloves, minced
1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
1 teaspoon paprika
1 teaspoon onion powder
½ teaspoon black pepper
1 teaspoon salt
1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped
1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice (optional)
Instructions
Pat the chicken breasts dry with paper towels.
Season both sides with salt, black pepper, paprika, onion powder, and Italian seasoning.
Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
Cook the chicken for 5–6 minutes per side until golden brown and cooked through (internal temperature reaches 165°F / 74°C).
Remove the chicken and set aside.
Reduce the heat to medium. Add the butter to the skillet.
Stir in the minced garlic and cook for about 30–60 seconds until fragrant. Do not let it burn.
Add the lemon juice (optional) and stir.
Return the chicken to the skillet and spoon the garlic butter sauce over the top for 2–3 minutes.
Sprinkle with fresh parsley before serving.
