 American Cajun Seafood Boil Recipe

Ingredients
1 lb (450 g) large shrimp, peeled and deveined (or shell-on)
2 lbs (900 g) snow crab legs or king crab legs
1 lb (450 g) smoked sausage, sliced into 1-inch pieces
4 ears corn, cut into thirds
1½ lbs (700 g) baby potatoes
1 lemon, cut into wedges
For the Boil
8 cups water
2 tablespoons salt
2 tablespoons Old Bay seasoning
1 tablespoon Cajun seasoning
4 garlic cloves, smashed
2 bay leaves
Cajun Garlic Butter Sauce
1 cup (225 g) unsalted butter
8 garlic cloves, minced
2 tablespoons Cajun seasoning
1 tablespoon Old Bay seasoning
1 teaspoon smoked paprika
1 teaspoon chili powder (optional)
1 teaspoon onion powder
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1 tablespoon brown sugar (optional)
1 tablespoon lemon juice
1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley
Instructions

Instructions
Bring the water to a boil in a large stockpot. Add the salt, Old Bay, Cajun seasoning, garlic, and bay leaves.
Add the baby potatoes and cook for 10–12 minutes.
Add the corn and sausage. Cook for 5 minutes.
Add the crab legs and cook for 5–6 minutes.
Finally, add the shrimp and cook for 2–3 minutes, until pink.
Drain everything well.
Make the Sauce
Melt the butter in a saucepan over medium heat.
Add the minced garlic and cook for 1 minute until fragrant.
Stir in the Cajun seasoning, Old Bay, paprika, chili powder, onion powder, garlic powder, and brown sugar.
Add the lemon juice and parsley. Mix well.
Finish
Place the seafood, sausage, potatoes, and corn in a large tray or bowl.
Pour the Cajun garlic butter sauce over everything.
Toss gently until well coated.
Garnish with extra parsley and serve with lemon wedges.
