SAN ANTONIO - A violent home invasion on the Far North Side that left one victim struck with a handgun has led to the takedown of what the Bexar County Sheriff’s Office described as a criminal organization, with six people now under arrest.
The sheriff’s office said the aggravated robbery happened May 7, 2026, in the 23000 block of Canyon Golf Road. Investigators said three suspects entered the home through the garage, held the victims at gunpoint and hit one victim with a handgun.
Deputies said the suspects stole rifles, gaming consoles, a thermal optic, high-value footwear and the victim’s truck. The truck was later recovered nearby, according to the sheriff’s office.
The investigation broke open after deputies located the stolen thermal optic at a pawn shop, the sheriff’s office said. That discovery led to the identification of several suspects.
The sheriff’s office said search warrants and arrests also uncovered additional alleged criminal activity, including drug possession, stolen weapons and vehicle theft equipment.
