East Side shootout leaves one dead, five wounded, including two children

 SAN ANTONIO — An 18-year-old man was killed and five others, including two children, were wounded in a shooting late Saturday night

Officers responded around 10:45 p.m. to the 1700 block of Lamar Street on the East Side. Upon arrival, officers found multiple people suffering from gunshot wounds outside an apartment building.

The victims included an 18-year-old man, who later died at a hospital, a 12-year-old girl, a 5-year-old girl, a 41-year-old woman, a 22-year-old man and one additional person whose identity has not been released. The surviving victims were transported to local hospitals in critical but stable conditio
