Sizzling Chinese Pepper Steak with Onions:

 

Here is a recipe for Sizzling Chinese Pepper Steak with Onions:

Ingredients:
450g flank steak, thinly sliced ​​against the grain
2 tbsp soy sauce
1 tbsp oyster sauce
1 tbsp hoisin sauce
2 tbsp vegetable oil (divided)
1 large onion, thinly sliced
2 bell peppers (red, yellow, green), sliced ​​into strips
1-2 tsp ground black pepper
1 tbsp cornstarch (optional, to thicken the sauce)
Salt to taste
Fresh coriander for garnish (optional)

To prepare the steak: Thinly slice the steak against the grain and marinate in the soy sauce, oyster sauce and hoisin sauce for about 10-15 minutes.
Sauté the vegetables: In a large skillet or wok, heat 1 tablespoon of the vegetable oil over medium-high heat. Add the onion and bell pepper and sauté for 3-4 minutes, until softened.
Sauté the steak: Remove the vegetables and set aside. Add the remaining tablespoon of the vegetable oil to the same skillet. Add the marinated steak and sauté for 2-3 minutes, until browned and cooked through.
Stir-fry: Return the vegetables to the skillet with the steak. Toss well and sprinkle with ground black pepper. Cook for another 1-2 minutes to combine.
Thin the sauce (optional): For a thicker sauce, dissolve the cornstarch in 2 tablespoons of water and stir into the skillet. Cook for another minute, until the sauce thickens.
Serving: Garnish with fresh coriander to taste and serve hot with rice or noodles.
