SAN ANTONIO — A 33-year-old man was arrested Saturday after he stabbed a 30-year-old man during an altercation.
The incident occurred around 9:40 p.m. Saturday on the 4800 block of Gus Eckert Road. Upon arrival, the San Antonio Police Department located both the suspect and the victim. The suspect was detained while officers tended to the victim's wounds.
According to police, the suspect went to the victim's door to advise them that they were being too loud. Police said the victim's dog ran out of the residence, and the suspect kicked the dog.
A physical altercation followed, during which police say the suspect struck the victim multiple times with a knife.
The victim was transported to a local hospital. The suspect was arrested at the scene on a charge of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon.
